(Cupertino, CA) — Apple is quietly launching an iPhone X [[ ten ]] that’s not tied to a wireless carrier. It’s now selling an unlocked sim-free iPhone X on its website. Previously, customers had to choose a wireless carrier in the U.S. But now, customers can pay full price and activate it with the carrier of their choice. The unlocked sim-free option still starts at 999-dollars, which is the same price as a carrier model.
