When someone asks you for a favor and you say “maybe,” is that just because you’re too much of a COWARD to say “no”?
According to a new survey . . . yeah, there’s a decent chance that’s the case.
53% of people say their “maybes” mean they might actually do it . . . but 31% of people admit that when they say “maybe,” they definitely mean “no.”
And people under 24 are the most likely to use “maybe” as a non-confrontational way to say “no.” 41% of them say their “maybes” are always actually “nos.”
