If you somehow missed it, no one won the Powerball jackpot on Saturday night. It started around $700 million, but so many people bought tickets, it was up to $900 million by the time of the drawing. Well . . . that’s pocket change compared to THIS.
The Powerball drawing on Wednesday is going to be worth at least $1.3 BILLION. That’s the all-time world record.
If you win and take the lump sum, you’ll get around $806 million, which will get whittled down to approximately $400 million after taxes. That should almost cover your student loans.
The odds of winning the Powerball are one in 292.2 million. So yeah, you’re PROBABLY not going to win. But for a $1.3 billion jackpot, it’s probably worth a shot anyway.
