Las Vegas Shooting Victims Remembered
(Las Vegas, NV) — It’s been one year since 58 people were killed and hundreds more injured when a gunman opened fire at country music festival in Las Vegas. A number of events and remembrance ceremonies were held throughout the day Monday. Just after 10 pm local time, the Vegas strip went mostly dark to honor the lives lost when Stephen Paddock fired off more than one-thousand rounds from his room at the Mandalay Bay hotel. Nevada Governor Brian Sandoval says the massacre will never be forgotten but the courage and conviction of those lost will always bring the community together.
