A Wind Chill Advisory is in effect for the majority of the listening area. The combination of the windy conditions and the bitterly cold temperatures has caused the National Weather Service to issue that advisory, which runs through Monday morning. Overnight lows will drop to around zero with winds up to 15 mph, gusting to 20 mph at times. Wind chill values will reach -15° across much of the area. In those conditions, frost bite can occur within a short period of time if skin is exposed. Use caution if you have to be outside within the next couple of days.
