JAMIE FOXX helped save a man from a burning pickup truck, after he wrecked in front of Jamie’s house Monday night.
Jamie heard the crash and called 911, then ran outside. 32-year-old Brett Kyle had been speeding and lost control on the wet road, driving into a drainage ditch and rolling his pickup several times.
The truck came to rest on the passenger side, and it was on FIRE. Another bystander had a pair of EMT scissors, which they used to break the window, cut the seatbelt, and pull Kyle out.
Unfortunately, Kyle was DRUNK . . . so he was arrested and taken to the hospital for treatment.
Afterwards, Jamie put a picture of him and Kyle’s father hugging on Instagram with the caption “Met the father of the young man from last night today. This is all that matters. That a man, a son, a brother’s life was spared last night. God had his arms wrapped around all of us…No heroes…Just happy fathers.”
