(Albany, Australia) — An Australian couple’s communication mix-up is paying off. Their breakdown in communication led to a lottery jackpot of more than 700-thousand-dollars. Typically, the couple said they only purchase one lottery ticket on Saturday, but a miscommunication led them to purchase two on the same day. It just so happened that when the wife went to check the tickets on Wednesday, she decided to buy another ticket which won them a jackpot of 717-thousand-500-dollars.
