Volleyball Team Raising Money For Slain Trooper’s Family
(Mount Pulaski, IL) — The Mount Pulaski High School volleyball team is raising money to help the family of an ISP Trooper killed in the line of duty. Nick Hopkins was shot and killed in August when gunfire broke out while ISP Swat was executing a search warrant in East St. Louis. The team decided to donate this year’s annual Volley for the Cause proceeds to Hopkins’ family. The fundraiser included a dinner, live auction, 50-50 drawing, raffle, and a volleyball match.
