This guy just HAD to score a few extra points toward free socks, I guess.
There’s an 18-year-old guy named Jermaine Brown in Boone County, Kentucky. And he recently used a stolen credit card at a Foot Locker. But . . . he used his OWN Foot Locker rewards card to get the points.
That allowed the cops to link him to the stolen credit card . . . and a lot more.
It turns out the credit card came from a stolen car. Jermaine and two other people, 21-year-old Paul Allen and 19-year-old Matthew Rivera-Fernandez, stole that car and at least FIVE others in February. And they’d broken into several other cars, too.
So they were all arrested on Thursday on multiple felony charges for their car theft ring . . . which was all blown up because one of them just HAD to get those crucial Foot Locker points.
