SC County To Not Count 14-Thousand Ballots on Election Night
(Undated) — Some 14-thousand ballots won’t be counted Tuesday night in South Carolina’s Dorchester County because of a printing error. The county has until Wednesday morning to come up with a solution. The mistake was noticed when they tried to scan in the mail-in ballots during the day, according to the state’s board of elections. Dorchester County is outside of Charleston, which went heavy for President Trump in 2016 by 18 points. The senate race between incumbent Republican Lindsey Graham and Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison has also gained national attention.
