According to Billboard.com Maroon 5’s Adam Levine has offered to pay the expenses for Singer Christina Grimmie’s funeral.
Christina, who was a former contestant on Team Adam during Season 6 of The Voice, was tragically shot to death while signing autographs by a deranged fan. The incident occurred just shortly after a performance in Orlando this past Friday Night.
Billboard reports that Christina’s brother, Marcus, posted the call from Adam to his Facebook page. Marcus wrote “I found out this morning that Adam Levine personally called my mother and said he will pay for her funeral and her plane flight, and I was blown away.”
Besides Adam’s assistance, funeral expenses are also being assisted by a GoFundMe page that Christina’s manager Brian Teefey has set up and as of now donations have topped $100,000.
