A new survey found four out of five people have made up an excuse to get out of some social event. 55% of people do it regularly . . . and 16% do it constantly.
That means if a friend cancels on you, there are pretty good odds they’re LYING about why they can’t go out.
The main reason people make excuses to get out of social situations is to save money.
And the top three things we do after we bail on plans are sleep, eat, or just watch TV or a movie.
