If you go on 16 job interviews, there’s a good chance that at one of them the interviewer is going to ask you things like, “If you could be any type of vegetable, what would you be?” and “Do bananas have souls?”
According to a new survey, 6% of managers say their favorite types of questions to ask people during interviews are weird, theoretical questions that show how people think creatively on their feet.
Fortunately, those are only the FIFTH most common type of questions you’ll get. Here are the five questions you’re most likely to get at an interview . . .
1. Things to gauge your interest in the job and the company.
2. Your previous experience.
3. Your personal attributes and characteristics.
4. Your goals and interests.
5. Weird, random, theoretical stuff.
