According to Billboard.com, the rumors are now true. After many rumors were surfaced, Lady Gaga took to Twitter Thursday night, September 29th, to confirm that she is in fact the headline performer for the Super Bowl LI halftime show!
While it will be her first time on the halftime stage, and only the 5th woman to headline the show, Lady Gaga is no stranger to the Super Bowl for she performed the National Anthem at 2016’s game. The 51st Super Bowl is scheduled for February 5th, 2017 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
