You know your smartphone is FILTHY, right? I mean, you take that thing into the bathroom with you. You use it when your hands are dirty, sweaty, and covered in nacho cheese. It’s a cesspool of bacteria.
Well guess what? It may be filthy . . . but your car is SIGNIFICANTLY filthier.
A new study found the average person’s car is 2,144% dirtier than their smartphone. When researchers swabbed people’s phones and the inside of their cars, the cars had at least 21 times more bacteria per square inch.
Our cars are also 55% dirtier than our computer keyboards.
But . . . basically NO ONE believes it. Only 8% of the people in the study believed that their cars might be filled with germs.
And they believed their cars were clean even though the majority of them said they clean their car once a month at MOST.
