The employees at a Best Buy in New York recently noticed that the same kid kept coming in every day to play video games.
We don’t know his name, but he looks like he’s about 15. And he always played the Wii U system that was set up in the store.
So last week, two employees named Kenneth Fernandez and Pal Ndoja pooled their money . . . and bought him his OWN Wii U.
They normally cost about $300. It’s not clear if any other employees chipped in or not. But their manager posted a video of them giving it to him.
It looks like he thought they were messing with him at first . . . but they showed him the receipt so he knew they weren’t joking, and told him it was an early Christmas present. They also bought him the game “Super Smash Brothers” that he always played.
Apparently he doesn’t live in a great area, because he said he might get ROBBED if he walked home with it. So they gave him a ride, and walked him to his building to make sure he got in okay.
Since then, he’s already been back to the store with his parents to say thank you. (CNN / WGN / ActionNewsJax.com)
