When “Pokemon Go” debuted over the summer, one of the big things people celebrated was that it was a video game that was making people ACTIVE. Unfortunately . . . we’re right back to playing video games on our couches now.
A new study found that “Pokemon Go” didn’t really make anyone healthier or permanently increase their activity levels.
People walked 955 extra steps in their first week of playing . . . but within six weeks, they were back to getting as many steps as the average person. (Popular Science)
