This guy picked the wrong time to try to steal a huge TV.
A guy named James Walsh went to a Walmart in Port St. Lucie, Florida last week, grabbed a 58-inch TV, and tried to walk out without paying for it.
But a security guard saw him walk out with it and started chasing him. And that caught the attention of a bunch of people in the store who turned out to be police officers.
Because it turns out James tried to steal the TV during a “shop with a cop” event, where cops take underprivileged kids shopping for presents for themselves and their family members.
Those cops joined in on chasing James, and they quickly caught him and arrested him. He’s been charged with grand theft.
