(Inglewood, CA) — Pop superstar Katy Perry can now add the title of “awards show host” to her resume. The “Roar” and “Firework” singer was named today the host of the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards. Perry is also set to perform at the August 27th ceremony at The Forum in Inglewood. She is nominated for five Moonman trophies, including Best Pop Video for her song “Chained to the Rhythm.”
