(Los Angeles, CA) — There’s a new number-one film at the box office. “Pacific Rim Uprising” earned an estimated 28-million dollars in its first weekend in theaters in the U.S. and Canada. The science fiction movie toppled “Black Panther” from the top spot. The Disney-Marvel superhero thriller came in second with nearly 17-million dollars. “Black Panther” has made over 690-million dollars in North America the past six weeks. Rounding out this week’s Top Five are the faith-based movie “I Can Only Imagine” followed by “Sherlock Gnomes” and the video game movie “Tomb Raider.”
