(Undated) — The cast of “Black Panther” is celebrating their success at last night’s MTV Movie & TV Awards. The film snagged four awards, including best movie. While accepting, Michael B. Jordan praised the success of a movie with an all-black cast. “Black Panther” also scored best hero, best villain and best performance in a movie. Chadwick Boseman gave his best hero award to James Shaw Jr., the man who fought off a shooter at a Waffle House in Tennessee in April. The big winner for television was “Stranger Things.” The Netflix series picked up best show, best performance in a show, best musical moment and most frightened performance. Actor Chris Pratt was presented with the MTV Generation Award, and actress and screenwriter Lena Waithe received the Trailblazer Award. Other winners of the night were Madelaine Petsch from “Riverdale” for scene stealer, the cast of “IT” for best on-screen team. Nick Robinson and Keiynan Londsdale from “Love, Simon” landed best kiss, and best fight went to Gal Gadot in “Wonder Woman.” The awards show was helmed by actress and comedian Tiffany Haddish, who also scored best comedic performance for her role in “Girls Trip.”
