EIU Men’s Cross Country Highlight

Eastern Illinois cross country faced a packed national field Friday at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria. The Panther men finished 23rd, led by Cale Smith, who ran the 8K in 25:13.3 for 122nd place. Miteku Branch followed in 25:27.1. On the women’s side, EIU placed 22nd, with Sophie Krueger leading the Panthers in the 6K at 22:31.5. Macie Russell and Chloe Proffitt followed close behind. EIU now turns its focus to the OVC Championships Friday, October 30th in Cape Girardeau.
